Give Joe a try on Apple Shortcuts
You can build an AI Assistant in just a few minutes on BuildShip. Yes for real!
Step 1: Clone Template on BuildShip
Simple clone the template using this one click remix link. If you do not have an account on BuildShip yet, then it will ask you to create one.
Step 2: Plug in your API key
The template showcases the use of various AI models such as Groq, Claude, and ElevenLabs on BuildShip.
Groq - to convert Speech to Text
Claude - to AI Assistant
ElevenLabs - to text-to-speech
You can easily replace these models with any other models. Utilize our prebuilt nodes or create your own using AI. You can make use of any API, NPM package. Your API keys are securely stored on the secret manager on Google Cloud.
Step 3: Test and Ship
Next step is to test your workflow. You can test individual nodes or the entire workflow. You can learn more about how to debug, test a workflow in our docs. Now you have a complete workflow ready on BuildShip. Click Ship to deploy this as an API - make note of this API as you will use this in the Apple Shortcut next.
Step 4: Create an Apple Shortcut
Head over to Apple Shortcuts app on your iPhone or Mac device. Then you can clone this Shortcut and replace the API url in the "Get Contents of" step.
Step 5: Test the Shortcut
You can test the shortcut by recording a question like "Can I eat icecream" and it will respond with an audio reply!
Step 6: Share and enjoy!
And that's it! You have now created an AI assistant on Apple Shortcut using BuildShip. Enjoy experimenting with your new assistant and with prompts.
